F panel is patented gabion retaining wall solution, where gabions are anchored to the backfill using georeinforcements/geogrids. Due to its technical properties, F-panel can be used to create remarkably high and diverse retaining walls. In addition, the structure is light, flexible and modifiable.

Features and Benefits

Economical

F-panel is economically very competitive when compared to, for example, a similar concrete retaining wall structure. A special additional advantage is obtained economically and environmentally, if the stones for the stone baskets and the friction material for the background filling can be found in the project area. 

Ecological

the carbon footprint of the F-panel is significantly smaller than that of a concrete wall of a similar height. By growing climbing plants along the stone basket, the climate footprint can be further reduced throughout the stone basket’s lifetime. 

Natural design

F-panels are excellent architectural elements for landscaping. There is less graffiti or other vandalism done to the structure than to concrete walls. 

Customizable

Heights, lengths, shapes and many other parameters can be adjusted. 

Durable

Stone baskets are made of hot-dip galvanized steel wire and the geogrids used can be designed for a service life of up to 120 years.
